Before I ever performed a home inspection, I spent over 13 years as a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser. In that role, I evaluated hundreds of properties, studied residential construction from the foundation up, and developed a deep understanding of how a home’s condition directly affects its value and livability. That knowledge does not disappear when I show up to your inspection. It informs every observation I make.
After my appraisal career, I spent more than 10 years as an IT Field Service Technician. That work demanded systematic thinking, careful diagnostics, and the ability to communicate complex findings in plain language. Those are exactly the skills that make a great home inspector, and I carry them into every property I evaluate.
